Privacy policy
How Deep Search handles your data, and data about the people you search for.
Who we are
Deep Search is operated by Monad Systems LTD, a company registered in Pakistan. You can reach us at [email protected] or through the contact page.
What we collect from you
- Account details. If you create an account: your email address, your name if you give it, and a password that we store only as a secure hash, or your Google account identifier if you log in with Google.
- Searches. The names and details you type into a search, which we send to our search service to run it.
- Payments. Stripe processes payments. We receive your plan, payment status and billing email, never your full card number.
- Technical data. Your IP address, used to keep the free search fair and to block abuse, and a Cloudflare Turnstile check that tells people from bots.
- Usage counts. First-party page view counts, with the country supplied by our network provider. We don't use advertising trackers.
What stays in your browser
Finished reports are saved in your browser's local storage so you can reopen them. We can't see them there, and clearing your browser data deletes them. Your login session is also kept in your browser.
People who appear in results
Reports are built from publicly reachable web pages when someone searches. We remove email addresses and phone numbers before anything is shown. We don't publish pages about people or offer share links. If you appear in results and want your name reviewed for removal, use the removal form.
How long we keep data
- Account data stays while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.
- Searches. We don't store the names you search.
- Subscription and payment records are kept for subscribers for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Removal requests are kept for as long as the removal applies, so a removed name stays removed.
Who we share it with
Our hosting and network providers, our search service, Stripe for payments, Google if you choose Google sign-in, and Cloudflare for bot checks. We don't sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your account data, ask us to correct or delete it, and close your account. Write to us through the contact page. Where data protection law gives you more rights, for example in the UK, the EU and the EEA, you can also object to or restrict how we use your data, ask for it in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page.
